Victoria is a mare of exceptional character and temperament. Her standout attributes are elegance, strength, flexibility, and a strong mentality in the ring. Victoria competed throughout her career with various riders—among them Martin Fuchs (SUI), Peter Moloney (IRL), and Abel Saïd (BEL)—in international classes across Europe and beyond. A highlight of Victoria’s career was her appearance at the 2017 Longines FEI Nations Cupô Jumping Finals CSIO5* in Barcelona with Swiss Olympian Fuchs where the pair put in a class round in the 1.55m Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona.
Victoria's sire, Vleut, is the son of the world-famous stallion, Quick Star. With German rider Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Quick Star earned top placings in multiple FEI World Cup classes and won the Grands Prix of Maastricht (NED), Mannheim (GER), and the prestigious Pulsar Crown Grand Prix of Aachen (GER) in 1994. Vleut began his career under Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) and went on to compete successfully for four seasons with Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS). In the spring of 2015, Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) took over the ride. Vleut’s daughter, Victoria, is considered to be one of the stallion’s most talented offspring.
Victoria’s dam, Comtesse, is the direct daughter of the mare, Sue, and the stallion Couleur-Rubin. Sue (Victoria’s granddam) also produced Fame, campaigned by World No. 1-ranked rider Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) at the five-star level. Fame later competed successfully under Norwegian riders Geir and Victoria Gulliksen until his retirement in 2011.
